Air drying uses compressed air (not heat) to remove surface moisture after a wash, rinse, or coating stage — on cans coming off a filler, parts leaving a plating line, produce after a hydrocooler, or a freshly painted panel before it enters an oven. Because the air itself does the work, nozzle selection determines everything: too little velocity and moisture streaks or spots remain; too much and product is damaged, energy is wasted, or noise levels become a workplace hazard.
